Granola tends to be a higher calorie cereal and yogurt topping, but sometimes you want that toasty, nutty-flavored goodness. So, here is my decadent granola recipe that is sure to be a stable in your pantry. It’s perfect to have on hand when you are expecting out of town guests and it’s also a great gift for the holidays.

Ingredients, Servings: 6 Cups

  • 2 ½ cups of oats

  • 1 cup of unsweetened dried coconut

  • ¾ cup of ground flax seed

  • ½ cup chia seeds

  • ½ cup sesame seeds

  • 2 tablespoons tahini

  • ⅓ cup agave syrup

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • Pinch of ground nutmeg

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 2 teaspoon ground ginger

  • ⅓ cup coconut oil

  • 1 cup of dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix all ingredients together except the cranberries in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly and then spread onto a lightly oiled baking sheet. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, turning granola every 5 minutes. Once done, remove from oven and let cool completely. Toss in cranberries and store in an air tight container.
